This is Mikki starting somewhere.

And it is also the name of her debut EP. Starting Somewhere, is a 6 track EP co-produced by the Emmy winning Bruce MacPherson and is influenced by Eric Hutchinson, Gavin DeGraw, Aretha Franklin and Stephen Lynch. This singer/songwriter describes her music as acoustic soul with a twist. The twist stemming from her innate love of comedy, showcased in her songwriting and live shows; where she takes her powerhouse voice and creates a song on the spot from topics suggested by the audience. A self taught pianist with only five years under her belt, she hopes to inspire the message that sometimes all you gotta do is start somewhere.
